what was the error you see? if the error reading ”your selected ICarsoft disk has been removed”, see my suggestion above about selecting the drive letters.

FYI: After the firmware update, it show Cayman 981. I have Cayman S 2015. iCarsoft PORII can reset the maintenance reminder and oil change or Both in one reset.

I was having the same issue with my POR II for my cayenne. I wound-up not using the included icarsoft USB adapter. I noticed that the micro SD card would not show the disk space in the Explorer window to see what drive it was located in. Once I switched to my SD card adapter (instead of the USB adapter) to plug in the micro SD card that comes with the scanner, it worked. You could also see the data available in explorer when using this type of card adapter. So ditch the included USB adapter and use a different adapter.

I'm trying to use the POR II to reset the oil notification after changing the oil and I receive this message: "This function was not successfully carried out. If all operations are normal send the following information to us: Mode: 4"
Has anyone had this issue? I successfully upgraded the software on the POR II. Wondering if it works with 2019 Cayenne because I'm following the steps in videos for other Cayenne but getting getting the above issue. Chris

Curious if the POR II can reset an oil change notification on any models 2019 or later. Just considering if Porsche changed their cars to make the device stop working on new models the past couple years.

If you search internet (outside RL) and Amazon reviews on this product, you will see that this is a common complaint for this product regardless of type of vehicle it is for. Many internet complaints are poor customer service with these types of problems unless you speak Mandarin. Hope you get it worked out and applause for the person who joined RL just to help you. This is a great community.

My V2 worked to reset the service light on my 997.1S, but weird thing is I reset it last April after an oil change and then did another oil change a few months ago after 6000 miles and my service light hasn’t come on again since last April. Aren’t these service reminders supposed to come back on within a year?

2019 Cayenne says on the display "oil change in X miles / X days" where days is 365 from date of last oil reset. So they definitely want you to come back every year to have it checked but perhaps that's later generation models; just guessing here. If your vehicle doesn't want you to come in for an oil change every year that's a great thing. It's too short a timespan because oil shelf life is significantly longer than a year.
Even if you only drive a few hundred miles during the year, they still want to change that oil. Hence the need for these owner reset tools but unfortunately it's looking like POR II doesn't support 2019 or later models....yet. I've logged a request w/ iCarsoft support.
