I went looking on their site. 997 not listed. I inquired. Their reply:

We have not fit the 2012 Carrera GTS, but can add it to our list of vehicles to look for at the dealership. If we are able to make a STO N SHO for it in the future, we can let you know. If we are able to make a STO N SHO for your car, you would of course qualify for the military discount.

Thanks!

Why would the 997 be different? GTS or 4S or any other?

ltcjmramos,
I noticed the same thing on their website and scanned the interwebs for photos of the bracket installed on other Porsche's. I concluded that the 2014 and up version would work. I hope this helps.

I assumed as much given you have it on your car. Mine has the third radiator. Wonder if that'll make a difference?

It will likely block air flow to the middle radiator. The factory bumper license plate bracket won't block the radiator, but it will be permanent.

My car had black wheels on it when I was looking and commented to the dealer that the car would look much better with contrasting wheels. When I returned to other car I was looking at they had changed the wheels to the silver ones and I fell in love with the car, bought it that day. The dark wheels take away from the blue and as stated by Petza914 there will be no visibility of the wheel details.

Per promise ... the outcome(s) -

Per friends, family, and many of you, the wheels were not touched. Eventually I will want to recondition them due to previous curb rash.

But for now ...

Bumper pitting was fixed and license plate holes were removed.

Grill slats were painted to match the body.

Head light washers were painted to match the body.

Head lights were polished, resin filled, polished, and then covered with UV protecting lightly smoked film.

Fog lights and front turn signals got matching smoke.

Hood rash was removed.

Front fenders were blended.

Windshield and gasket were replaced with OEM Porsche parts.

Attached are two pictures taken by David, who is an artist with a camera. My photos fail to show the artistry of the body shop.
