I guess if he cut his teeth on BMWs and was new to Porsche I might better understand. But I don't even know if Porsche has a method for cleaning. It was suggested earlier that this would need to be a motor out service. It seems that no one here has needed this.

Not sure if he noticed....had about 3 cars in front of me. Not a rookie SA based on the gray hair, the explanation on the carbon deposit seemed logical, to me an engineer. Can't say if it's their "training" or reality but still it is info from Porsche. I just add to the database, reality always wins.

As we say.... in God we trust, everyone else bring data.
