battery drain

battery drain
my battery keeps going dead overnight. I connected a amp meter and the amps alternate between 1.75A and 250 milliAmps. wondering if anyone has seen a parastatic draw like this before and what could be drawing the current?

The typical drain of a sitting car is about 45mA. Anything higher than that is either a fault or an third party accessory.

If no third party loads... perhaps a bad audio amp or some other ECU related load.

I had a 997.2 with a battery drain. Very similar description. I pulled fuses till I found it and also checked for voltage across the fuses. Mine was the PCM. PM me if you want any help.

Are you using a current clamp? I only see two leads going off to someplace. Unless your using a current clamp you have to insert the meter test probe in series with the current path.

Did you click over the door and the frunk lock mechanisms with a screwdriver? You must make the car think it is all closed up, wait up to 30 minutes for everything to go to sleep (I found that 10 min is enough) and then start testing without opening the locks up as that wakes everything back up again.
also unsure all lights go out (frunk, boot, etc.).
