Default Does this even matter?

So the dealership replaced my door panel under CPO. I really like that I have a new door panel with new clips and no scratches. But now I see the seal is kinda folded (right at the top) and I can't really flatten in out at this point. Do you guys think this will lead to anything negative? Not sure if I should bug them about it.

I am not sure I am seeing what your are seeing... but that little panel at the top of the panel just pops out... use a soft pry and it will just come out... then you can see better what you are dealing with. Trim tools are plastic to not damage... you can use a screw driver but you risk nicking the plastic. Behind that plastic is a Torx screw tighting down the panel... you can then remove this screw which will give you some flexibility to then tuck back or pull out any plastic rubber trim. This procedure is no big deal... just use the proper torx bit as to not damage the screw.

Peace

I'm comfortable doing trim work myself, but if I just had the panel replaced by a dealership I would take it back to them to do over.

Sorry maybe I wasn't specific enough. It's the fold at the top of the door seal gasket... right at the top. It's supposed to be straight. This affects how it makes contactt with the door jamb when the door is closed.

They are responsible for correcting anything that is not right, Show them the other door and tell them it should be the same.

Yeah they didn't replace the gasket when they replaced the panel. But I don't think it looked like that prior to their work. I'll have them fix it.

Something has changed there as you can see the thin black mark where that rubber curve used to sit.
