Brake Upgrade - GT3 Master Cylinder / Caliper 380mm Girodisc rotors. Rear Caliper ?
I upgraded the master cylinder and the front calipers to GT3 Calipers. Since I added the GT3 Calipers, it is not necessary to use the Girodisc spacers on the front, because the GT3 Calipers are the proper fitment.
On the rear, I have a question. Would it be better to use the 997.2 Carrera S Caliper with the open hat design and the Girodisc Spacers, or would it be best to install the GT3 Rear calipers with the closed hat design? I am thinking that using the GT3 Calipers would be best, but it makes changing the pads a PITB!
Thoughts?

Why? Simply because of the ease of pad replacement? The GT3 Closed hat design must be stronger...
And yes, The 997.1 GT3 Front Calipers worked perfectly!

I'm doing this too. Have 6 pot calipers and front 350mm rotors ready to go. Waiting to burn out my front stock rotors before switching.
I'll buy your girodisc rear spacers from you if you don't go that route.
3 options:
1. Use higher friction compound on rear OEM C2S calipers than GT3 front calipers to even brake balance since front is 350mm and rear is 330mm
2. Use spacers on rear OEM C2S calipers and new 350mm rotor. Same pad compound on all four corners.
3. Switch to Turbo/GT3 rear calipers and 350mm rotors. Same pad compound all around.
i can't get girodisc to respond to calls or emails to buy the rear spacers. But if you don't go the route of using the spacers just PM me and I'll buy them.
Good luck with the project.

So far, with GT3 Master Cylinder, 350MM Girodiscs in the front and GT3 Front Calipers, I can say that the car stops very well. The stock rear 330mm calipers are now swapped to 350mm Girodiscs, now I need to determine what calipers to proceed with. See photo!
