Default 997-1 Turbo oilpressure problem

Hallo I am new to thuis platform.
I own a 997-1 turbo 2007
I have bought the car new, and iT did now 225000Km.s
It is stil looking and running like new.
However sometimes when the car is cold and had be standing for a few days, iT rattles at the start,as soon as the oilpressure comes up it stops rattling and runs fine.
Is there Some kind of Valve in the engine that holds the oilpressure?
When driving or idling the oilpressure is fine.
Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Greeting Leo

Does it sound like something other than hydraulic lifters doing their initial adjustment? What weight of oil ate you using? Could be timing chain rattle if a tensioner is failing or a paddle is worn, but that noise probably wouldn't go away. Maybe post a video where we can hear it.

Default oil pressure problem

hello Petza914,

Thanks for your reply.
Oil is recently refreshed is the standard 0W40.
The problem seems to get worse.
But everytime I want to film it , it start fine
Sounds not like a hydraulic lifter, its much harder and really a metal on metal sound.
Scares me because a love the car so much.
I have it now 10 years !!
