Default car cover question

Looking into a cover for the 997.2, any recommendations? I need protection from lawn sprayers and general dirt/droppings

One caveat we have parking permit stickers in my neighborhood, so just the lower rear near the licence place (on bumper, left of licence plate) must remain visible?

I have a oem one with the license window I'm not using.

It's got a little fray on the bottom from use but other than that in good shape.

Pm and I'm sure we can work something out.

I have a waterproof cocercraft one I use for my 928 Spyder when I'm at an event and it's going to rain heavily. Material is great. You can get any cover you like, mark the area where you need the parking sticker to be visible, then take it to a boat custom canvas place and they can sew a piece of clear panel like they use for boat side curtains in that area and you'll be all set.

What kind of person are you? Is your car always clean?
Will you really really use it? Unless your car is clean and dirt free.
Dawning a car cover will inflict more scratches than protection.
I had a nice outdoor cover for my 997, but rarely used it.
My 994T had a cover. It was only used for winter storage. With an additional thick bed spread, to protect it from kid bumping.

Thanks for the reply's, I would consider myself a pretty serious car detailer, car paint is very clean. The problem is that there is a ton of dust from construction, and I get sprayed at least 1-2 times per week with the horrible sprinkler spray, which coats the car in hard water spots, so I am constantly detailing and washing the car, almost daily.

Hey Petza914. Aren't you they helpful chap with the knowledgeable kid who was behind me at the Mitty? Great parenting as his young son explained to me, "No sling-shotting, but you can say you missed a shift and get away with it." Please update his progress in twenty years. He should be able to support you in retirement. If you don't want him, or any of your vehicles, I would be pleased to adopt either.

Hey Larry, yes that was me and JP - LOL. I think I'll be keeping both him and the current stable, but thanks for the offer - maybe Larry's Summer Camp. BTW, the car really did sound awesome and being able to hear it that well over my Catless 928 with Borla is saying something.

Stay in touch and we'll catch up again at Petit le Mans if not before. I usually take the RUF 997 to that one and you can follow me around

Take a look at CoverKing covers (link below); they come in a variety of options, both indoor and outdoor. We've only had positive feedback with them - happy to answer any questions that you may have.

I like the Auto Armor version that Coverking sells. Best of the best in my opinion.

Does the Autobody Armor car cover have a window for viewing the rear license plate?

I think they can custom do it for you. Its not a standard option from what I see on their website.
