Of course they work, if they didn't why would anyone make them. I just put the K&N on mine and my finely tuned buttdyno indicates a mean increase in horsepower of 25.37!!! I do know that the car with it's Gundo hack and intake sound like big HP when I pin the throttle now!!!

Disagree. Filters of all sorts are rated as to their initial filtration ability generally expressed as a certain % of micron size and also some measure of pass-thru resistance. No way to know how various oil filters compare without knowing these basic filtration variables. I would be stunned if every manufacturer used the same filter media!

Then by all means continue to use Porsche branded filters in good health
