Default Disable seatbelt chime

Anyone have a detailed DIY through the Durametric Pro or other avenue ?

The chime is extremely annoying putting the car up at low speed onto my garage lift etc.

Thanks !

Get one of these. Clips into the belt receptacle. Used one to disable the chime when I used a harness in my 997. Also doubles as a bottle opener

I spliced the wire with a resistor but it came with my Recaro seats rails.

I'm sure it's an easy thing to do though

Its pretty stupid that they limit the regular enthusiast version so much for even the price. I have a Ross-Tech for my VW/Audi and its probably the best diagnosis tool I've used. I thought about returning my durametirc for that reason alone.

Very easy.

1. Start Durametric / PIWIS - read or wait for car info to appear, then
2. Click Instrument Cluster
3. Select option "Coding"
4. Scroll down to "belt buckle - Driver's side", click "yes" to change to "no"
5. Scroll down to "belt buckle - passenger side", click "yes" to change to "no".
6. Save or exit coding

Done !

Default Sorry for the stoopid question, but...

Is the Durametric Enthusiast the one to get?

Nope. Unfortunately you need the Pro version to make coding changes.

Default Anyone near Atlanta with Durametric Pro?

I would pay $100.00 bucks to disable my chime. I'm in Carrollton on the west side of town.
