Default Power steering creaking?

2005 C2S with 36K miles. I've been noticing some power steering noise from the front of the car when turning at low speeds. Sounds like a creaky squeaky noise when pulling into parking spaces or maneuvering at low speeds. Any idea if it's a lubrication problem vs steering rack going bad? No power steering fluid leaks noted.

Thanks for any advice!

It's the bearing race on the front shock mount. You can temporarily remedy with silicon spray. Lift the side where the creaking is and spray in between the rubber to soak the bearing. Don't know how Porsche calls this part...

They used to call them strut bearings. Back in the early 2000s, they would swap them out for free, as a courtesy.

I know, thread revival, however I have a similar issue on the new to me 997 (never had this problem in my 996), ,y video's here

I'd like to know whether I could spray the area pointed by the arrow, push down the rubber part and liberally spray?

Thanks for your help!

A quick update.

After an extensive testing by the dealer, they discovered that the noise was from pinion bush. It might either be dry or worn.

I don't even know what a pinion bush is. While the official recommendation is to replace if this is to reoccur and getting worse, the unofficial route would be to get it to a power steering specialist to recondition.

Here's the service note, for future reference for anyone that stumbles onto this thread:
