Default 997s sold

It was a sad day today as I loaded my beloved 997s on the truck and sent her off to a new owner in MI. Great car and she will surely be missed. Good news is I have an 07 GT3 coming soon.

Interested to hear more about the GT3..

Looks like your 997S was in good company for the trip.

Hope you took lots of pictures. I sold my beloved 86 in Aug after 18 yrs. My wife convinced me I didn't need two and I still miss her but time and a new girl friend or car does ease the pain.

Enjoy the new car. Post some pictures when it arrives.

Funny stuff. In all seriousness, its always hard to say goodbye to a Porsche. This particular car is special as I spec'd it new, carefully choosing all of the right options (sport, leather and aluminum). I will likely never order another new Porsche again. While I'm excited to get the GT3, its not the perfect build and I doubt it was taken care of the way my 997S was. The buyers getting a loved example and I know he will enjoy it. Here's a photo of me taking delivery back in summer of 07

Hello is right.

I rotate out every few years.

Lots of great memories of many fun P cars.

But, I am not a collector and dont want to be.

Fun toys. That's all.

Enjoy the GT car.

Night and Day difference.
