Ranking of motor oil
I ran across a blog on motor oil that is extremely detailed and ranks 195 different motor oils as to wear properties. The blog is very, very long and extremely detailed. You need to scroll way down to find the oil rankings. If I read it correctly, he ranks Mobil 1 0W40 FS Euro Car Formula as the very best motor oil. To access the blog: www.540ratblog.wordpress.com

too bad wally world has that US blend M1 swill on sale .....ya know the stuff that eats through the po crankcase ....unlike the euro blend . well i do think this will go on to.....different angles jacking up car for complete drain,and drain time,drain plug type /torque/seal/tool bit,how often change/can of techron/re-setting oil light/prefilling filter/over fill/under fill/wait time on checking level/MI suks/MI does not suk/spoiler up or down,what music do you listen to while under your car /i just changed my oil so i can now afford to to buy myself dinner at micky d/ and on n on ....wad eye miss

I found that canola oil is not as good as peanut oil...but there are many different grades on canola oil so I can say that the Costco bulk canola oil works just as well as the name brand, so save a few bucks and watch Costco's Kirkland brand when it goes on sale.
