Track Day (tomorrow)
Going to Silverstone tomorrow, the track temp is going to be around 1c so its pretty chilly.
Standard road pressure of 34psi front and 40psi rear should be dropped by how much in this instance?
I am thinking the tyres are not going to warm up that much on the cold track??
Any advice appreciated

First time out I would not deflate the tires. After your 1st run check your pressure as a base point and deduct from there. Deflate when the rubber is cold...like just before the 2nd run. I typically take 8 lbs out but that could vary depending on which side of the car gains more pressure when hot.
Have fun and check your mirrors often.

what tires are you on? kind of the biggest question here
in general, agree with sneaky pete at those temps. if you're on MPSS for example, they are going to be all but useless at that temp and will take more than a few minutes of hard driving to warm up

I'm jealous, if you are talking about the F-1 track. The closes I'll get to driving a Porsche at Silverstone is playing Forza, on my son's x-box.
My service manager at the Porsche Dealership said I could run my tire pressure 4 pounds under the recommended limit - to help with ride comfort. However, he said for track use, and full loads in the car - use the recommended limit. Temperature did not come into the discussion.
I'm off to play Forza.
