3 ohm resistors work with NRG QD and Momo 69
But.......the DASH lamp stays illuminated after clearing codes and using the 3ohm rather than 2ohm resistor packs. Wonder how you get the light to extinguish? Good news is no fault though anymore after carefully reading some cars need more than 2ohm resistor.
Anyone?
Just tackling Front Module weirdness and rear LED resistor next to turn that REAR module fault off.....rear fog.

if the airbag light went on once, it will not extinguish until you reset it with a dura or PIWIS, etc. even after the correct resistors are in place.
If you have the 3ohm jumpers in place, just rest the airbag light with one of the above systems and if you did it correctly, you'll have no more light. This is what I did on my .2.

Durametric turns off the fault in display, but NOT the red airbag/driver illuminated warning on column beneath gauges. Durametric shows two faults currently showing both airbag triggers defective?

To be clear I am using TWO jumpers so both "inputs" from airbag green and yellow EACH have a 3ohm resistor in place.

If that's the case then they are not connected correctly or securely. Did you test your resistors using a multimeter to be sure they are within 3% of 3ohms? Another method is to deactivate the steering wheel airbag sensor using a Dura pro.

No I didn't test them but will today. Is using two an issue? Should I try combinations of connections or just keep working on wires as is? One set of resistors PER yellow or green OR split the connectionsI'm utilizing your tape method of connection.?

On a positive note my fabspeed gloss grey tips arrived. Brand spanking new. Way cheap. https://www.vividracing.com/catalog/...FQyoaQodrIcPPw

if you're referring to the 'tape method' in this thread, you missed that this was someone else's comment and car:

I would never jerry-rig something like this and do not advise you to either. You should connect the resistors directly to the connecter on the clock spring.
You need them to complete the circuit. So one resistor for low speed airbag and one for high speed. i.e. one for the green plug and one for the yellow plug. NOT MIXING PLUGS.
If you really want to do this right consult a pro or dig in my early threads for a complete diagram of how I did this when I replaced my wheel.

I hear you. No pro in my garage but me. One 3 ohm in each. Ergo, 1 in green and 1 in yellow. Polarity is not important. For that matter these could be clipped into each hi/low or green/yellow like we do with led tails. Must be something Porsche must extinguish. CEL is gone so 99% of the way there.
Cheers.

NOTE:
Test the resistors -- mine say 3 and MEASURE 2.x ohm so that won't work......no wonder.

Hitting it with Durametric now to attempt extinguishing that dash lamp. Switching to 5'ohm turned it off but it illuminated again about one sec later.

2.90 volts and triggers defective or something it says....meh.
