Haha!

Now that's good.

Love this. A sure cure for reading too much RL and getting a case of "my Pcar will blow up next time I turn the key" itis.

Personally this C4 is begging to be replaced! Just dropped $700 today on her. The worlds lengthiest and most expensive thermostat housing love affair of all time.

991.1 C4 and 997.2 c4S same damn price.

I would get an IMS guardian for your .2. I have one on mine and the peace of mind it provides is great. I wouldn't own a .2 without one.

It's probably the self adjusting oil circulation volume conduits, I hear they are fragile on the 997.2 engines.
Unfortunately there's not a lot of information available. 200 hours of scouring the web before a full engine teardown and rebuild is probably the best course of action....

My car has been sitting on its lift for almost 2 weeks, it keeps staring at me begging me to let it down...... I try not to look up at it anymore as we just got another helping of snow.......will it still love me tomorrow??

The coil packs that I didn't replace with nice new ones are about to explode in the cold cold garage.

All we can hope for in life is to outlive our cars... the alternative doesn't sound very exciting

Not too likely. OP is in Philly so by now I'd estimate his car is 80% rust by weight. RIP in peace, gentle 997.

I am reminded of a saying by Mark Twain, "It's not the things you don't know that will get you in trouble, it's the things you know for sure."
