Does anyone have any experience with this LA dealer? They have a ton of used P-Cars there.

Thanks in advance

I bought my 997 from Jonathan there back in 2012. Good experience, they bought my car at auction after it was traded at a local BMW dealer, SoCal car its whole life. They even drove it over to Rusnak Porsche for the PPI. A couple years ago I looked at a 997 Turbo there that was pretty rough so I'd of course PPI any car but they made the transaction pleasant. Would buy there again if they had the right car.

My experience...not so good.

I wanted them to put a car on the rack and they refused. A little shady and they were not forthcoming with history even though they said they had the info.

Could just be a one off experience, I just moved on.

They do have plenty of 911s, most were out of state when I was shopping for a second 911.

I bought a Jag from them years ago, it had a warranty and I sold it soon after........I wasnt old enough to own a jag hahaha. Bought a Lotus Esprit to replace it.

They buy from auctions and focus on higher end Euro cars. Like any other dealer, get a PPI or walk. That simple.

I wouldnt say they are better or worse than any other mom and pop independant used car lot, they just have a larger selection of Pcars. Personally I prefer to buy from a private seller. Drive up to a nice house with other nice cars, seller knows his car, documents on hand.....do a PPI and the deal is done.

They are on the pricey side, many cars have been in the lot for ages with zero price reductions. Completely ignored me when I shopping around for a car.

I found that if you knew what to ask about and look for they just shined you on. Almost says that they like the uniformed buyer who will not ask questions and pay a lot.

Yes, they have inventory that has been around for a long, long time. They do get some of the trade ins from local auto dealers (like Auto Gallery)....who will do PPI's for them (wink, wink). There is a tie between the two.

Just keep looking, many 911s around.

I recently bought a used Audi for my wife, for some reason when I went to look at all the small independent "high end" dealers, everything just seemed so shady. I felt like I was better off buying private party and risk some dishonesty and potential issues and get a great deal, or just know that you are going to bend over and buy it used from a real dealer. The little shops just felt like they are always hiding something and I just got a really creepy feeling about them.

They don't let you test drive their cars until you are agreed on a deal with them. That's the experience I had with them.

Typical used car reseller. They claim to have zero knowledge about any of their cars but everything is clean, in good shape, minimal wear, etc. These businesses are all the same, save for maybe one or two that really care.

Hard to believe we're all talking about the same place based on my experience. Oh well, I guess things can change over the years. When I was shopping they let me test drive a 996, 997, and a m3, and I even told them I was considering leasing a new 335is as well.
