Default Butterfly or Lambo doors

Does anyone have this mod or ever thought about it? What's your thoughts on it? I've seen someone advertise a kit at $3600. Is this a cool mod or a d0Uc$ebag move?

If your modification goal is to add weight to your car and increase the gaps in the body panels while simultaneously making it less practical and reduce its resale value--then go for it!

Bonus points are also awarded in the Autozone parking lot.

Oh no, don't do it
One of the reasons I bought the amg GT s as compared to the sls was it has "normal doors" (i had thought about buying the sls for a couple years)
Also, be aware that a lot of these body type kits are really ****ty quality
I watched an episode of gas monkey, where they ordered a 997 body kit upgrade for their 996 for 12k US (they said) and they were very surprised at how poor quality it was, and spent an extensive amount of time and extra $ to get it to fit. (They had to fabricate their own brackets, etc)
(all they had to do was a google search on that kit from wherever they purchased it and coulda saved themselves a lot of grief)
They did not say which company they bought it from, but I am pretty sure it starts with a W...

You could try, but I'm not sure Lamborghini uses the same doors as Porsche; they probably wouldn't fit. Maybe try Audi?

Troll? I think not. Sorry my question didn't meet with your approval. Do you act this way to anyone who has a question that doesn't meet your approval? Are your other 60 posts as much of a contribution to this site as this one? I asked a simple question. Didn't even say I wanted to do this. Just looking for opinions.

I'd lean towards the "d0Uc$ebag move" option, since it really is kind of played out and doesn't fit the 911 styling (i.e. classy and not gaudy). However, to each their own...everybody has their own tastes...but I'd still be curious to see it if you end up doing it.
