Default Air Port GT carbon intake

Just curious, never seen one before.

Looks interesting and kind of cool with the triple air horn. Couldn't find any info on Google for it. Fortunately, I already have the Champion F77 intake so I won't be tempted.

looks like excessive hot air would be taken into 3 ports, looks like bad idea to me

Once you close the lid, the ports should be connected to the air inlet on the deck and seal it from hot engine air. It looks like a Fabspeed Gen 1 intake but encased in a CF box, not a bad idea actually.

I agree - looks pretty cool. Kind of reminds me of the Carbonio one. If it will fit into my engine bay with the supercharger pulley and the wing hydraulics, I might give it a shot just for fun and uniqueness.

I think I'd get tired of people asking me why they named it "Air Dort"

Unfortunately, I'm out. Dimensions from the seller say:
  • Length from the back of the box from side to side is 31" long
  • And from the front of the box from side to side is 28" long
  • Width is 8"
  • The hight from the bottom of the box to the last carbon trumpet is 8" high
  • The hight from firs (middle of the box trumpet by the oil holder) is 5" high
  • From the bottom to the top of the filter cover is aprox. 8.5"
  • Distance from the face of the alternator pulley to the airbox is 1"

The clearance between my hydraulic rams for the active aero wing is only 25.5" so much too narrow for the 31" length and I need more than 1" of clearance from the alternator pulley to the box since the supercharger pulley sits in that same space, but is more rearward.

One of you guys will have to be the guinea pig.
