Why all of the seams in the rear bumper cover? I don't remember that design feature in the early cars.

It looks to me like it's cobbled together from spare parts. The 997 looks good as a 997 in my eyes.
I thought the opposite. I think it looks remarkably clean and nicely done vs some of the aftermarket high volume kits. It's just a one off as far as I know.

To each their own...

I like the duck, but it ends there.

Maybe add some chrome headlight eyebrows to compliment the retro look?

I understand. Some like it, some don't. To me, the kit breaks up the lines and the flow of the 997 design.

The only way to make this "better" is to do the center seat mod that was previously, and maybe convert it to a drop-top.

Not a fan. The toothpaste color is not doing the car any favors. The front looks like a current Volkswagen beetle merged with a Dodge Neon. And personally I don't like ducktails on 997's since they are much more wide bodied than the older 911's.

It looks to me like they consulted the Zimmer design team.

I love the styling but I can see why others hate it

However I think we can all agree on the quality of the work itself - bodywork and paint is outstanding

It looks interesting and I guess if I had a lot of F... Y.. Money I would not mind having one of those in my Garage but as my one and only 911 not so much.
The front does look very cool but I have to agree the lights looks kind of ugly but the bumper and such is very interesting.
I love a Ducktail on a 911

Not a fan. It's a poor attempt to replicate Singer backdating 964's. Just like that 997 "slantnose" thread a few months back.

Spend 993 money to make your 997 worth as much as a 996.
Makes sense to me...

The craftsmanship is actually stunning, but it doesnt work IMHO. Specifically because the Singer resto cars share the same basic tub. The 997 only shares nuts/bolts and the hood crest.

But its his car and Im all about personal style. I do think its neat to look at like the slant nose 997.....sorry, but I actually liked that one hahaha.

Not working for me. Wheels are way too big for the retro look, too many panel lines at both ends, the front bumper lights aren't integrated well, etc.
