Default Heavy Hart

Well it is truly with a heavy hart that I say good by to the 997 world. I actually traded my car in last night and had a really hard time doing it. She was my first Porsche and was fantastic, but alas I made the mistake of going to the PECLA center and driving a GT4 and fell in lust with the newer, sportier wickedly sounding GT4.

So with that I no longer have to worry about IMS, Bore scoring, D-chunking blah blah blah....NOW I get to worry about losing 3rd. gear!!!! why oh why do we love these cars so?

When I have more room and more money I will probably be back again when I can convince the wife that every man truly needs more than one Pcar!

Life goes on and once you get inside a "better" Porsche, especially a GT4, decision is quickly made - fully understandable. Good luck!

I was also in your shoes. Bought a 2007 Porsche Cayman s new and never gave me the slightest bit of trouble but saw a slightly used 2016 911 black edition and it let me let go of the cayman. The tech in these cars are unbelievablele. Only put 150 miles on it before I had to store it for the long winter ahead. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to All.

If you don't mind sharing, were you ale to buy it for under the original MSRP? I see many GT4s advertised for over $100K and some in the mid $120Ks.
