Default tuning PDK..

Hey guys,

I jut picked up a 2009 997.2 pdk carrera 4. It does not have sport chrono therefore there is no button for the pdk to go into sport/sport plus mode. I am considering adding a tune to the car and was hoping there was a tune that improved hp, throttle response, and shift speed/firmness of the pdk. I have on order a center muffler delete and bmc air filters so far.
Are there any tunes out there that have all of these benefits in 1? I see suncoast sells the option to add the sport button feature for around $1200 but if I were to spend that money I would like to also get the benefit of a little extra horsepower.
I also came across Agency Power's gearbox tuning plug and play obd flash tool while searching. They sell that for $800. Does anyone have any experience with this tool and how does it compare to factory sport mode? I haven't found any reviews. https://www.agency-power.com/shop/ge...era-turbo-pdk/
Unfortunately this also seems separate from their ECU flash tune that "claims" 17hp increase. https://www.agency-power.com/shop/ec...rrera-36l-dfi/
Some other options out there for ecu reflash seem to be fabspeed, evomsit, softronics, etc. but I cant tell if they will improve pdk at all. If someone can point me in the right direction and share your experiences that would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Not sure all you are asking for exists in one go. I just got the sport mode fitted to my 2010 PDK C4S

Heres my thoughts

I would say getting sport mode fitted is a must first if you cannot find something which does that and adds more power in one as the difference in changes under acceleration is significant in the PDK in sport and sport+ modes. Although it doesnt add power i think it makes the car feel alot more alive.

Thanks, I did see your thread. Good review. I am keeping that in mind but am also curious about the Agency Power pdk tuner. It seems the tcu and ecu are separate, so there may not be an "all in one" option.
