About to buy 997, looking for advice on a scratch..

The Tampa 997 (the one from the start of this thread) is hard at $30,990. No service records included beyond what they did to the car. I can call PA dealers (as suggested above) in an attempt to get records but the 3rd owner is what worries me. Thoughts? Thoughts at $30,990?

Any used car is going to be a gamble. At $36k at least the OP has done the due diligence to mitigate the unforeseen. I overpaid to get the car that spoke to me and meet my basic requirements. Like I said before, Color combo, mileage, clean carfax etc. At $36k the OP will have the car he wants with some major wear and tear items already checked off the 'to do' list.
If its in his budget, I say go for it.

Thanks all, appreciate the input! Now time to crunch some numbers
I would like to see this car in person before I buy. A trip down south may be in order. Again, thank you ALL for your contributions to this thread - they have been invaluable!
EDIT: Also worth noting that the Tampa car firm at $35,990 is basically where this one will be after the required repairs. It may still be worthwhile to get a PPI done and see how that comes back.
