Great choice and even got the aero kit! I read your other thread hoping you went for a 997. The 996tt is a fine car, however, I think the 997 is a little more special. Yes, I know people argue that a 997 is closer to a 996 than earlier generations in styling proportions but I still think it captures the iconic 911 shape better.

Again, congrats on the new ride. She really is the compete package.

Yes, it will, just a different set of noises. Sport mode changes the shift points and engages rev-matching on downshifts so there is definitely a different amount and type of noise coming from the tailpipes.

Well I'm picking her up this week! Just in time to park in the garage until springtime. There are a few mild mods I'm planning over the winter. Gundo hack for a set of mufflers, some CF tidbits and already looking for a used Fabspeed CAI. I know it really doesn't add any power but it sure looks good, and sounds great!
I might wrap the wheels gloss black too. I don't like powder coating wheels, just me...and with the wrap, I can peel it off and have them stock again.
This is what happens when you get trapped inside for crap roads, your brain runs away lol!!!

My delivery was delayed until Monday. Lucky for me, the Viper SOLD last night! Looks like the new car will only have to sit outside a few days. Guess not that big a deal as it would be sitting outside on the dealers lot anyway.
