Thanks for all the compliments!!
You make a good point caitov. After I come back from a long business trip I'm currently on, I'm going to give the stripes a chance.
Thanks for the heads up on the seat belts Pete. I'm going to look into it.

Car looks fantastic with these. Well done. And great to see the enthusiasm from your side as well as opposed to some of the "ho hum...got a new set of wheels" responses we see. Enjoy it in hood health.

Ya. Wheels and car look really good.
Worth the frustration now Im guessing.
Very nice and enjoy.
Im a big fan of inset wheels with a lip.

Even though I've only driven the car for approx 120 miles since installing the new wheels, I'm extremely happy with the result. It feels smoother when driving over rough surfaces. It's not a dramatic difference but it does feel better.

Are the 18s more quiet? Road noise at highway speeds from 305/30 19s is significant.

Wheels are such a personal choice. Now everyone is going to tell you that your "993" looks really nice!
Just kidding!
It's a terrific wheel. Always liked them on the 993 Targas (I think that's the original fitment).
I opted for Otto Fuchs out of Germany for (1) lower forged weight, (2) old-school styling, and (3) old-school aluminum anodizing. Wound up saving about five pounds on each corner in back--not so much in front.
Kept the centers black, and then went with the titanium bolts, with black plastic covers, and black painted lock-bolts.
I just like old-school on some things.
Nice look.

After seeing your posts about the original Fuchs wheels and how good they look on your car, I thought about getting those for quite some time.
The original fitment of my wheels was on the 993 RS. The main difference is that my rear ones have much more lip than the ones on the RS.
Here's a couple of pics of a gorgeous 993 RS that I saw last weekend for reference:
