I've only heard of AAA providing AAA-branded batteries and no Porsche battery is going to have a 6-year warranty - sounds like you got lucky.

Not that it matters as Porsche doesn't make batteries but I would also be surprised if they put in a Porsche battery for $174. The battery alone costs way more than that..

I just replaced my battery this week. I used the new AGM Odyssey battery BCI size 48 ( link below). Took about 15 minutes total. The new battery is smaller but drops right in and there is A threaded M8 hole to except this battery size for the OEM battery holddown clamp. New battery is lighter, smaller and safer than that giant POS Bosch lead acid nightmare.

Welcome!! Your Odyssey still weighs 48 lbs which isn't much lighter than the OEM (BTW - OEM is Moll not Bosch). Still I'm a believer in the AGM technology too.

AGM is the way to go, especially in cares driven shorter distances
