Default Meteor Grey at Dusk

I can't ever capture on photo but Meteor Grey literally seems to change color at dusk. The little bit of perl it has disappears and it looks oh so sexy.

Sharp! And that 991 lip spoiler looks great--just ordered mine yesterday and can't wait for it to get in.

Platinum - That's is awesome pic, and I totally agree about the changing look of Meteor Gray Metallic ... I just bought a 2012 Cayenne S as my new winter DD in the same color and it keeps surprising me how it changes color in different light, as opposed to my Black C4S Cab which is pretty much black no matter what

WantA997 - Regarding your comment on the front lip, does a 991 lip fit perfectly (on a 997.2) or any modifications required?

I really want one on my car.

Waizone.. nice ride. I always liked those wheels.

Suezen.. The lip is not a direct bolt on. No modifications needed though. Take the old lip off, secure the 991 lip however you want. I just screwed it in from the bottom.

Couple of good links below.

I would agree that the color changes on the car quite a bit depending on light. I see my car and sometimes the grey appears to be a "warm" or "french" grey. And sometimes its more of a cool grey.

Does the 991 front lip spoiler only fit the 997.2 or will it also fit a 997.1 ?

Search around. I have only seen it on a .2. However since your literally just bolting it on, it will fit a .1. The lines are different on a .1 bumper so will it look right is the question.

Beautiful (yes I am somewhat biased towards meteor grey ;-)
By the way: I always thought that blacks rims don't work on meteor grey, you have proven me otherwise

Great looking car. Are those aftermarket wheels or factory?

Thanks.. I went back and forth on silver vs black. Never had black wheels but then looked at the brake dust on my stock wheels and was sold. I also got an extra 250 off the black set. Not sure why, maybe they don't sell as much.

I have to agree.
The colour seems to be better in cloud or dusky lighting.
Its not quite as sharp in direct sunlight.
Heres mine on an overcast day...maybe still.too much daylight.
