I wouldn't worry about it not having Sport Chrono unless you love the look of the dash wart (I don't).

BTW how do you get rid of this dash wart? I got it with my 2006 C2S. I already got rid of the aerokit, next thing is getting rid of the chrono for which I have no use. Has it any value on Market Place?

When I was searching for my perfect car, my 'must haves' were White/Tan and manual. Factory options can almost double the price of a modern Pcar and IMHO arent worth the effort.

I see most electronic options as future money pits. That said, my car is stripped compared to most, and thats the way I like it. If I want to 'upgrade' I will. But my bare bones 997 has the essence of my old 911SC and multiple 964's. All go and no show.

A white/red 997 would be cool to see, please post pictures.

My car is a 2009 C2, not an S, with a 6MT. I got it for $47K with 22K miles four months ago. Options wise..

Meteor Grey Metallic, Stone Grey Standard Leather, Self Dimming Mirrors, Heated Front Seats, Sport PASM, Seat Ventilation, Bluetooth Phone Interface, Bose High End Sound Package, XM Radio, Floor Mats in Interior Color, Universal Audio Interface, Power Comfort Seats with Driver Memory.

It has all the things I need for daily driving!

.
I feel this way as well - I just don't want a bunch of extraneous junk in my car. When I'm looking for a car I look for stripped. Not to mention all that stuff adds weight to the car.

I consider full leather, sports seats, Blue Tooth and manual transmission to be the most important for me. Bose is nice but not a must. IMO nav is no longer nessesary.
I still have no idea what sport chrono offers.
