I might be coaxed into selling my Eddy Bauer Limited Edition Special Extreme Club Members Only Crew cab.

Take the base car value and combine it to 30% of the ad on's (X51, special paint etc). That is a good starting point. And 30% for options is generous. Options are spendy on a P car, but a seller is lucky to re coupe 20% of the money on resale.

The seller F'ed up by putting on 30k miles. If it had uber low miles, then he could have commanded a premium to a collector. Now its just a used car with a special badge and 30k some odd HP.

$42,00 Ish?

Will never, ever understand this way of thinking. It's a sports car, drive the damn thing. Mine has almost 75k and is my daily, which includes strapping my mountain bike to the roof and driving to the trails. It takes it all like a champ.

If you're buying a car just as an investment, you need to fire your financial advisor and make some real investments.
