Default Car started, sputtered and died

I went to start my car this morning after not driving it for 6 days and it started up, sputtered and died. It happened twice. On the third try I gave it a little gas and it caught itself and it started fine. I let it idle for 10 mins, shut it down, and it started back up without any further incidient. It threw no codes. Oil pressure, oil temp and engine temp read normal. I just hit 50k miles and my service records showed it had the major service done at 38k miles by the previous owner (Im second owner).

However, I did notice for the past month or so my car needed a little more crank to start than usual. Could my battery be dieing? I had the dealer replace it before I purchased the car 2 years ago. I threw on my trickle charger today and will let it charge overnight. I will remove it and start it up tomorrow morning from a cold start.

2011 C4S no engine mods.

Reads more like a fuel supply problem (for fuel supply read fuel pump) than a low battery problem. But top up the battery and see if that helps.

Not sure if the 2011 model has a servicable fuel filter, but if it does you should be sure the filter is reasonably fresh.

Just had a similar problem with my 2011 GTS. Needed more cranking than normal to get it started, ran rough for a few minutes then settled down. Did this twice. Took it to the dealer, the high-pressure fuel pump was failing. Replaced under CPO warranty. Hope this helps, good luck.

You say no codes thrown. I'm assuming you mean no dash light or error messages. Did you attach a code reader to the OBDII port, something generic or Porsche specific like a Durametric cable?

Also check that your gas and oil caps are tight.

No codes on the dash. I do not have a durametric pro. The high fuel pressure pump sounds like a possible culprit, tho..

the invoice didn't show any costs, but I think the pump is around $800: here is the part number: 9A1-110-315-FX

I should mention I never experienced any rough idleing or loss of power before this happened.
