Default Looking to buy a 997 t help..

hi guys searching for a 997 turbo years 2007 to 2009

There are so many great ones, is there anything I should know between the years?

What is a great price for all 3 years 07/08/09

I really want to buy something that never was tracked.
Some questions is the 07 auto trans is faster than the manual? or
What are the changes from 07 vs 08.
thanks

to begin with they skipped 09 and went to updated pdk car in 10, unless you can afford a 10 you have to get the old tip version from 08 down. the 10 has the dfi engines

I owned the 2007 997 t for short period auto. I guess 2010 is the 997 model preferred?
If I were to go to a manual it won't matter which 997 t years?.

I don't think there was much in terms of difference between the 07 and 08 997 t. In 09 the big difference is the PCM 3.0 and some other updated electronics. If you are looking for an 09 in manual expect to pay a premium for that year. The prices on the 2009 manual transmission turbos are going up. The 2009 was the last year of the Mezger engine which is desirable and the updated PCM makes it the "sweet spot" for the 997.1 turbos.

If you are not getting a manual than I would skip the tiptronic cars in the 07,08, and 09 turbos and opt for the 2010 which changes to the PDK tranny and the DFI engine.

I was thinking about other cars, they made 10 but it wasnt updated to the 997.2 spec. It remained as a 997.1 3.6 tip. The 2011 turbo went to the 3.8 dfi pdk
