Changing your own brake pads at least once should be mandatory for 911 owners... Just kidding. If having the dealer put on $300 worth of unneeded brake pads for $800 makes you happy, go for it!

As stated earlier, brake pad change is a relatively easy DIY. I'm not much of a driveway mechanic and I found it pretty easy and straight forward. Give it a try...

I don't feel like dealing with the center locks. I'll just have the pads done at the dealer.
