Default Cold air = snap!

It's amazing how much quicker and more responsive my 911 feels since the change in weather - 55 degrees at 530am in CT this morning and a huge difference in performance compared to the super humid weather we been having - anyone notice how much more responsive car is in colder weather??

Don't ignore those tire pressures as the temps fall.

54 degrees is the ideal temperature for fuel atomization and power. Too cold, and fuel doesn't atomize as well. Just taking my car out early in the morning when it's 78-80 degrees makes a huge difference. Albeit, I live on the center of the sun aka Phoenix. We're still in triple digit hairdryer weather...

love denser/colder air too. I notice the difference. also, above 4k feet, gets a tad anemic (like me)
a thoroughly warmed up car at 40f and low elevation is a dream come true
as lexvan noted, tire pressure monitoring prudent

Yes! thought it was just me. Was thinking the same thing over the last few months. Live in north central jersey and its been very hot humid here as well and did notice the difference depending on outside air temp/humidity.

Cannot wait for it to cool off here in Texas. In another month or so!

humid air has less oxygen, as does hot air, and "thin" high altitude air.
there are measurable advantages to colder oxygen dense air

I've noticed the same thing on my 997.2 and even more so on my 86 air cooled. It really loves temps in the 60s. Glad the 95-100 degree Alabama weather is coming to an end. We gave been getting a taste of what is to come in the mornings which have been in the high 60s. Also means that I won't need ac in the 997 every day and will stop sweating in the other (AC delete).
