I use mine about once a week, but I wish I didn't have it. Lowers headroom, adds weight on top, and they always break eventually

Check out the sunroof delete thread in the 997 GT3 forum. If it weren't such a huge effort I'd get rid of mine

Opened it once fully and tilted it up probably twice in 14 months of ownership.

Tried mine to see if it made difference in exhaust sound in the cabin. Didn't make any difference at highway speeds and haven't used it since. In fact, when I was shopping for the car, no sunroof was on my wishlist. It seems to be a very hard option to find (sunroof delete). If I ever order new, it would definitely be sunroof delete +alcantara.

Probably one of the hardest option to find, I think I read on here that option can only be found on euro models? Nice performance mod, you lose 40 lbs of weight from the center of the car and it will never fail and possibly leak eventually

I use mine only when......parked. just crack it to help keep it ventilated/cooler when parked outside

Never use sunroof. Absolutely hate panorama trend in modern cars. If I wanted it I would have bought convertible.

I usually open it when I'm driving unless it is raining. I tilt it when parking in the summer. I close it if Pam is with me. That being said, Pam seems to be coming around to sunrooves. We had hers open as we drove around Barcelona yesterday and she was enjoying it. And recently, I've been getting away with tilting it when she's in the car.
