Default Two years

Today is the second anniversary with my 2010 C4S PDK. 48K miles beyond the 35K she had when I acquired stewardship. I couldn't be happier. That's all I need to say.

I think that's 6.5 K a year but in any event Happy Anniversary. The traditional 2nd anniversary gift is made of cotton I think. Perhaps you can get her some nice new towels or something for your detail days.

Holy carp! I thought I was doing good at 25K. I hope my unicorn doesn't find out and sue me for neglect. You are THE MAN! Congrats and keep up the good work...T

His ownership = 48000 miles / 2 years = 24000 miles/yr
Total ownership = (48000 miles + 35000 miles)/6yrs = 13,833 miles/yr

Yes Joe, I'm cheating on my baby. But I've been without my second mistress for two days waiting for a new tire to arrive in Barcelona.

On the way into town two days ago we were surrounded by motor scooters and at a red light the one in my blind spot put a screwdriver through the right rear side wall. Now disabled, we were robbed.

The tire came in this afternoon. We have a new passport for Pam (and a hair brush). We have a police report. We have the no cost MB supplied 0 deductible insurance handled. We hope to pick her up in the morning and, using evasive driving techniques, head west to the Atlantic. When asked which routes were safe in Spain, the police said none. Our break in is complete and she is stable at speed. With the Dynamic Driving Package, we're limited to 167 mph. In other words, ready for some fun 8) She does perform to almost 997 levels.

Back into France soon and then through Switzerland and back to Stuttgart for the Porsche factory tour and museum (already got the MB and AMG factories and MB Museum).

Then home to the 997. 8) + ;-)

Yes, this is the longest I have gone without my first mistress. I hope she'll forgive me when I get home!!!

BTW, for mileage worryers, I'm at 84K miles now, 48K + more miles than when I acquired her. She gets exercised every day, up to a week ago.

Sorry to hear about the troubles.

However very nice mileage! Its always good to hear of someone actually using the car instead of putting it onto some garage pedestal!

Hey Wayne, congrats on the new ride....sorry to hear about the scooter terrorists and your misfortune.

Your beast is waiting here for you when you get home, just like my chocolate lab, just has a smile on her face and glad to see me, then i go into the garage, and theres my german mistress, smiling at me with that shark bite look....

Had a great time on the ride, i bent my rim on a switchback in Jenner bout a mile past the russian river. Even with the slight shimmy, the car is an absolute joy to drive....all fixed now, ready for another tour....

Hopefully see you on a coast run soon,,,,,cheers from livermore, mike

Congrats! I am just over 2 years in myself. Nowhere near that mileage rate, unfortunately.

Perhaps if I lived in your part of the country...
