Good luck! Driving it home or shipping it home? A nice, long road trip would be a great way to get to know the car....

PPI is always a good idea. If it's down in the SoCal area and you need a shop recommendation let me know. Always liked that color and the paint looks to be in really good condition. Good luck with the purchase.

thank you all for the support. I will take any recommendations for a PPI in or near Thousand Oaks, CA 91362. And yes its very tempting to fly out and at least drive the coast line ( buck list )..

If you're thinking of doing that, I would advise it. The only kind of car I'd consider closing a deal on sight unseen would be a brand new car with only delivery miles. Too much left open to interpretation and I've a funny way of spotting things the seller didn't "notice". trust someone elses discretion with my hard earned $$$... not a chance!

I did all but close the deal on my pristine GTS from several states away. But didn't sign the buyers agreement until I arrived there. Low and behold.. car is perfect. Except a pea sized dent above the rear passenger side wheel well. Which I spotted during my visual inspection as I first walked around the car (ok I walked around it several times in excitement).. the dealer was apologetic as I was angry about it not being disclosed. They got their dent guy out within 45 minutes while I had left the dealership to get some breakfast. It was of course fixed spotlessly. But I had all the leverage as I'd not signed for the car. .

Is it the one at O'Gara listed at $47, 788? Real curious what you ended up negotiating for it.

4S, perfect for your corner of the country. .2's are definitely great cars. Lots of the bugs re-engineered. Just make sure its a well taken cared for and not a molested/modified, abused at the track car, I'd take it,

Can u post a screenshot of the Porsche Buildsheet? (U can also get a listing of options and info on the car at www.vindecoderz.com). These Porsches are so different, option-wise, it's hard to advise without seeing it. It will also give u the production and warranty start dates.
