Guys (and girls),
Thoughts on a United Auto Care Platinum policy on an 09 997.2?
It is expensive but for me peace of mind has a cost. I'll rather pay and be covered than hoping every morning that nothing breaks. With PASM, crono package and the nav in the car I see enough electronics to make the coverage a decent deal; in addition to the powertrain stuff.
My question is more related to how good the coverage is and if anyone has experience with them. I'm thinking about buying a 30 month, 30,000k.
I got a quote from the finance department from the dealer that services my car. If anyone has a thought on how to get better deals than there I'm open. Many thanks.

Never heard of them.
So I would ask;
Who underwrites the policy.
Is it an exclusionary program? Which means only lists things it DOESN'T cover
Whats the cost?
Remember this is not an insurance policy in the true sense of the word. Therefore you don't get the protections that are built in by state insurance boards/commissions.

Hi.
what level did you buy your policy at? Platinum? Gold plus? Gold?
They don't want to quote lower than those. Many thanks. Serge.

+1 to ask the dealer or an indy which warranty companies actually pay out and which ones are decent to work with. I have National Auto Care on my BMW and when I asked the Indy what they thought of that warranty co they recommended them as one who would cover most things. As always, read the fine print
