Default crappy wheel bolts

looking to renew/replace the corroded/flaking wheel bolts. took rear wheels off to clean inside for first time ever by the looks (09 c2, I am 3rd owner).
wire wheeled the bolts back to gleaming metal in prep for maybe painting etc.

turns out I like the look of clean metal as much as anything. maybe clear cote?

has anyone done similar?

maybe adding wheel spacers some day, don't want to purchase new bolts and again soon after

I switched to titanium with no regrets. No more work to keep them clean. Just wipe with a paper towel or rag.

Get a set of these Ti ones from World Motorsports. Excellent quality and reasonable price. I have them on my 997 and Cayenne and Tikore ones on my other 997. World's price is much more reasonable than Tikore, like almost 1/3 the price. The only advantage to the Tikore ones is if you want locking ones.

Thanks guys! Good recommendations. Still considering spacers, for appearance and possible gains in stance/handling' not sure yet what thickness fore/aft so will hold off for now.
