I bought the 997 rear LEDs and a couple of things.
1. they look terrific
2. did I mention they look terrific?
I tried to put in the fog bulbs they give you and they are the wrong bulb. So I had them replaced with LEDs. The passenger side doesnt work at all regardless of bulb. I notice the connector on the unit goes into the car connection and 1 pin is on the car side? So Im not sure what that is about other then theres no passenger side fog.
I get the fog light out error on the dash as well.

There is no functioning passenger side rear fog light - only driver's side.

Ah ha! I thought so!
Okay o what LED bulb works in there (drivers) because then I put a LED in there it only works for 2 secs and then goes out. If I put a white regular bulb im ok
which set did you buy? I bought 2 red/clear set & both I have to return it cause the damn fog light bulb didn't fit properly into the socket. I've try different bulbs & still nothing. This the one I bought which doesn't required the factory harness.
If the fog light circuit in those lights is designed for a regular incandescent bulb, that means there's no resistor built into that circuit of the taillight. With the led, the car is not sensing the proper resistance on the circuit and cutting power / disabling it. That's why the bulb works for a second and then cuts off.
You either need to get and led bulb with a resistor built in (may not fit in there though), add an external resistor to that circuit, or use the regular bulb. You'll likely not be using g a rear fog very often, so I'd just use a regular bulb.

Came with 2 red bulbs. Youhave to sand off one end of the clip.
However the red vulbs i got were the wrong ones. So i had a white one and it worked
Mines all fixed
Ps no light needed for the passenger. It doesnt work anyway, (normal)
