I've returned !
Its been a few years since I was active on the Rennlist. I can't believe where some of the Porsche prices have gone ! I can remember just a few years back I could purchase a nice 07 GT3 for the mid 80's and decent 993 4S cars were 40-50k !!
I really thought I did well when I sold my 96 993 C4S for the low 40's, now I could pick up that car for less than 70k. And the GT3 market has just gone nuts.
Well, I picked up a 09 4S coupe with 13K on the ODO a few months back and it turns out to be the same build I spec'd out night after night on Porsche USA back in 09 ! It was always entertaining to spec out a 997 with different options and spend time thinking which way to go, even though it would have been a big stretch for me financially to get everything I wanted back then, but the car would have been worth it.
My 09 is a Meteor Grey and Tan 6SPD with Bose XM and Navigation, Sport Seats, Illuminating stainless door sills, Heated seats, Side Skirts in exterior color, Wheel caps w/colored crest, Bluetooth,Footrest in aluminum.
Early build 11/08 and a MSRP of $105,570
Not a heavy loaded car, but more of a package I would want with a manual transmission. I've added spacers from Sharkwerks and 19" Turbo II wheels.
Glad to be back in a 911 and on the forums !

I have plans to add the Sport software and hardware to the car, as well as the Sharkwerks exhaust . I've had the Sport Chrono on my other 911's and defaulted to it each time I drove, I didn't care for the lap timer on the dash though..
