Default 997.1 future mods, chime in please :)

I want to get that hidden radar/laser jammer, any recommendations?

The radio that's in the 997.1, no satellite capabilities. I read there's a kit for 2k (i read it here). Is there a cheaper option??

I have the bose setup, which Im quite impressed btw.

What other 'essential' mods have you done to this vehicle?

There are a couple of options for the stereo. Many people like Transit Blue. I haven't used that one, but I know it's relatively inexpensive for iPhone streaming music. I use a Mobridge M2 Pro system. It costs more, but it nicely integrates into the MOST loop and allows for control of the music with the factory head unit. It also allows for Bluetooth phone connectivity using the menus in the head unit. I use the Sirius XM app on my iPhone to get that content.

If your car is a cabriolet, then I recommend the Smart Top. It's a great mod. If your car is normally aspirated, then look into Fister Sport mufflers. They are inexpensive and they sound great.

I have used the Valentine 1, AL Priority combination on my M4 and was very happy. On my 911, I installed the Stinger VIP. The price difference is crazy but the Stinger is pretty amazing. NEVER been stopped with either.

"Essential mods" is really a subjective decision based on what your preferences are and how you plan to use the car. Many on the forums want track performance, some just want some visual upgrades while others are looking for a combination of both. Great thing about these cars is the range of options which are available.

My suggestions (in no particular order) which are coming from a 10mos 997.1 daily driver owner. No autocross or track aspirations.

1) clear side markers
2) lowering springs or coilovers (I put on H&Rs)
3) LED tails and front DRLs/fogs
4) Transit Blue HF which gives bluetooth and music streaming (very inexpensive)
5) Gundo hack or Fister D exhaust (deepens tone and raises volume)

I'm personally debating a front lip, rear wing and IPD plenum / GT3 throttle body.

Enjoy your 911!

Clear sidemarkers, find a way to disable the resonator in your intake.

Yes that's the model number. Amazon has it for $79 Best buy has it for $199 with free install but they match Amazon. So I bought it from BB for the $79 and they agreed to do the install for $25. Having it put in on Monday.
