I'm also a Long Islander (Plainview, 11 years) . I received my short shift kit Friday (9/23), core exchange. 2nd time around, when Luka received my original unit , told me it was a short shift, so he worked with me to install it on my original short shiftier (Thanks Luka). Would you mind telling me who did the work? I'm searching for a good Indy shop. I'd like to try a different shop this time around.
Thanks, PAUL

LOL! Good for you, this used to handsome 53 year old follows the old Clint Eastwood motto, "Man's gotta know his limitations". I'm reticent to try. Car has only been mine for 6 months.

Do you plan on attending the PCA Tobay auto cross? I was going to go today in Bald Hill had to stay home and take care of a few things.

Had my short shift core exchange installed this morning, I had the same immediate reaction: OMG what a difference. Extremely tight, play is basically nonexistent. Really enjoying it, makes the whole car feel tighter, more connected. If you are on the fence, do it, you will not be disappointed.

If you live in NY, Long Island or near, I highly recommend Import Auto Haus, Huntington Station, NY. Every car there, literally, was a 911. I think mine, a 2009, was the newest. Excellent service and pricing.

If you don't mind me asking, what did Auto Haus, Huntington Station, NY charge for the install?

1 hour labor. $150, plus that wonderful NY/LI Tax, $172 out the door. If you're looking for a good indy shop , check them out.
