Just a quick clarification -- Maxspeed doesn't dye OEM belt material. Whether you do a core exchange or send your belt assemblys to them, they basically replace the material with completely new webbing. They reuse OEM retractors (either from the core or yours). Just be aware that if you use the core exchange, the retractors you receive could be from another year. Even though they are pretty much identical through the 997 generation, it just doesn't feel right using 2006 retractors in a 2008 car, as an example. So just FYI.

There are other vendors that do what Maxspeed does but in my research, I couldn't find one with better pricing or one that has significant experience with the Porsche community.

Sweet post pics and such when they're installed. What color is your interior?

Thanks for clarifying. Just noticed that the verbiage is a little different on their website now compared to when I bought mine.

I debated doing the Maxspeed belts vs new ones and decided to go the factory route, and got mine from Sonnen. A little cheaper than Suncoast and I have a good rapport with those guys.

Part of the issue was I wanted to keep the original retractors and at the time of this project I didn't want to be without the ability to move the car for a week.

I just did the fronts, but for about the price of 2 OEM fronts you can do all 4 of the maxspeed ones with priority shipping.

If you want to do the rears too, I would suggest deciding that NOW as you have to do all the same work to access the rear belts.

In case anyone needs a set of Black OEM ones (for core use or replacements) I have a set available in the FS section.

Very nice. The red console "pops" amidst the black interior...T

Looks nice, I had Maxspeed do the interior pieces for my HVAC and the quality was horrible. Wanted to do the seat belts but now have decided otherwise.

Wow....not what you'd expect. Seat belts came fast and they look good installed . Quality was good as well. I manufacture and sell custom parts / aftermarket for Mercedes AMG and BRABUS...should probably look in to mods for Porsche, since I got one
Here is only one item that I do so far (back cover replacement for iPhone
