Default Starke Fuchs

I like the OZ ripoff version better, but these seem like a good route for the value based Fuch buyer.

Nice!! Available May 31st. Really nice price.

They are listed for the 4S models, but tirerack doesn't list the offsets.

They are stock offsets for the 997.

If you order a 19" for a 4S, the offsets are factory. If you're using spacers, you can just use the same ones.

I'm getting Starkes in another style. They all are made with us in mind, so specs are for Porsches.

I have a table of 997 offsets, and I found the full offset info. Each matched to the mm. Chatted with Tire Rack and they confirmed.

standard offsets is going to hurt some sales i believe. I was all set to order some starkes instead but I want more aggressive offsets, now leaning towards avant garde wheels.

I would think spacers, costing about 100 +/- dollars, would be suitable to get the offset desired.

I run 17mm rear and 5mm front on stock and will re-use on the Starkes.

Philster; what size rear tires are you getting? tirerack.com pre-populates 295s but I imagine you can get 305s if you contact them directly.

295's. Bridgestone S04's.

I really have no desire for 305's. I'd imagine 305's are available, but not loaded into the d-base for stock and optional equipment.

These are surprisingly not bad. The amount of dish on the wheel looks really good.

Are these well made? Anyone have experience with the brand?

I have Fuchs on my 964 and love then, but man they're expensive in 19".

They probably rate as 'acceptable.' Say you dent one... they're so cheap... it's worth a chance, and they are close in weight to higher end wheels. Tire Rack does a decent job of keeping real Chinese E-Bay-ish junk out.

Several guys on these boards are happy with them, and they do look good.

Bumping this thread to see if anyone ever ordered a set.

I need new tires on fronts/rears, and it's also getting to be time to replace my TPMS sensors, so I'm thinking about just getting a set mounted and balanced with the sensors directly from Tirerack.

Would love to hear impressions on these wheels from any owners.

I have Starke wheels, but not the Fuch copies. I'm pleased overall. Have had them for a year. Look good. Roll smooth. Well constructed (at least visually).

OK, I just bit the bullet and ordered them.

Got the 4 wheels, TPMS sensors, and Hankook Evo v2 tires (I had them on my rears, and am happy with them) for ~$2300 shipped.

I also ordered black lug bolts from ECS tuning, and some black Porsche crest center caps from the 'bay.

Will post pics when I get everything installed.
