Evolving My Exhaust System on my 2010 C4S Cab
Here are the 3 stages of evolution on my 997.2 C4S Cab. The first clip is the all-stock exhaust system. It really sounded less-than-impressive, so I then installed the PSE, which gave it a much more aggressive exhaust note and growl. However, it still seemed to lack the sound I was after, so I just installed a set of Fabspeed Sport Headers and 200-Cell HJS Cats. The evolution of the sound is amazing, and I now find myself driving with the top down in all weather (rain included!) just to hear this amazing exhaust note and acceleration. The video clips really don't do the actual sound justice, but given that I had a hard time finding clips with these 3 different set up online I though I'd share clips of all 3 iterations of my system in the hopes that it helps others find the exhaust note they're after. Enjoy the vids, and I'll try to post a GoPro shot of the car under acceleration with this new set up. It's awesome ....

The last open question on my final exhaust set up was "Will it pass the Emmissions Test here in Illinois?". The good news is that the answer is "Yes", and I've got the 2017 registration sticker in hand to prove it

Nice documentation North Shore, thank you for posting!
You captured the sounds better than most in the videos. I will be doing something similar when CPO is over.

Nice sound..... maybe it is the angle of the video but it looks like the Fabspeed headers hang just a tad lower than the stock headers ? Can't really tell, what do you think ?

I have heard fabspeed and other aftermarket headers hang lower than the x51 headers and stock headers. Don't know the exact measurement but one of the reasons I went x51 on my car as its also on H&R springs

That 3rd video with the final setup and the license plate upgrade is great. I have the same setup as you on my .1 but also with the Fabspeed Valvetronic Mufflers (their version of PSE) I integrated with my PSE dash button.
Here's a quick clip of mine
https://youtu.be/VMJ_NLjjJNw
I need to do a full acceleration run to the higher recs, as that's where the setup really sings, like yours.
Was the engine and outside temp really as cold as it looked when you were revving the motor up in the first video - not sure that's the best idea on a cold engine with cold oil in a cold climate :-/
There's also what sounds like a very noisy lifter at 40 seconds in the first video after the revving that then quiets down, but that's a fairly long time for a lifter to pump up so maybe keep an eye on that.

Nice set up !!
I have a .2 with a X-pipe and valved mufflers and even with closed valves it's amazing ! Needless to say that in a tunnel with the valves opened the cars jump on the right lane before I show up
BTW I see that license plate from Paris, have you been living there ?

@North Shore 911 I have the same setup, PSE,Fabspeed headers with 200 C cats.
I tried a merged X pipe with PSE, and headers but its way too harsh a tone, embarrassing even.
The Fabspeed headers with PSE is just perfect.
