Me too. I have the comfort seat with ventilation and I can't live without the vent. It is a must have here is So. Cal.

However, I'll be the first to complain that the comfort seat isn't very comfortable around the mid-back area right below the arms. The bolsters pinches my back right below the arm in a very uncomfortable way, and it's not very supportive either.

Interesting, is that's the manual version of adaptive seats?

Yes. Height & fore/aft are manual. Recline is power.

wow... Porsche's option matrix is incredible. It's fun to speculate the reason. Cost, weight, preference? All I assume..

They are standard seats in the GT3 just without the alcantara, which isn't my thing, so I'm assuming weight as the primary. Makes installation into other cats without the complex connectors quite easy - just need a positive and negative for the recline.
