Help with Engine...
With the extent of modifications done to the engine, the new tune should have been customized specifically to your car, meaning dyno pulls and DME analysis. If the new tune was simply downloaded and installed in your car, it's very likely that the car ran lean since tuners can't guess what kind of mapping is needed just based on telling them that it has an EVO700 Kit. There may have been other supporting mods, or tweaks done to the wastegates that would alter the way the kit performs off the shelf, thus not taken into account when the new tune was made.
On the other hand, if these steps were performed, then it's possible you got unlucky with a defective engine component that prematurely failed.

Thanks for the reply. The tune was provided by evolution motorsports themselves. They installed the hardware (turbos, exhaust, etc) when he car had 1000 miles or so and I don't believe anything changed from the time they installed the kit. I believe they just took the tune from another car that had the same kit as mine and sent it to me.
This is the only way to properly tune a car. Mailing your ecu to someone is just bs in my opinion. I have seen for myself "tuners" adjust the throttle response to fool the owner that the car has more hp and torque. The dyno speaks the truth.
