The route I follow does cross the bridge after Perkins memorial. The road your friend was talking about is the goat trail, or 202 south I think on the road map, we traverse it twice in the day. I simply use the memorial for a stop for the view which as you mentioned is a really good scenic overlook or the valley
Yes the scenic route on the memorial sucks and is full of potholes. I'd neverI'd never suggest that road.
The new date is June 5th, still at 8am and the same start and end points as originally scheduled

I'm bumping now with about a week to go and I'll bump it Friday and Saturday night, Saturday night will also have my phone number so if anyone is running late on sunday (there's always 1) they can just call. Or if they get separated and don't have a 2 way radio.

The weather looks like it'll allow for a big enough window from about 6am to 3pm. I will update tomorrow with confirmed or not but as of right now, it's still a go.
You can bring anyone, I do not restrict this to porsches. I've had supras, nsx, bmw m cars, audi, anyone really that enjoys driving and is respectible. I don't allow cars that look like they're falling apart though.

I was unable to complete my 928 in time due to some further issues with the timing tensioner, like it rubs the crank pulley for some reason. So I'll be reating a car
