Default How do you remove the Luggage "Eyelet"?

I have a 2012 997.2 Carrera 4 GTS. I'm replacing the luggage trim cover in the trunk (Part #997-551-630-00-FMU). After removing all of the screws and pulling back the rubber, there is a trim piece called an "Eyelet" (Part #997-551-805-01-02A) that is at the bottom of the luggage trim piece and appears to be holding the entire cover fast, preventing removal of the cover. How do you take off the "Eyelet"? I've tried pulling out, sliding left, right, up, down - to no avail. (This part is about 2"L , slightly rectangular, with a separate little bar - like an elongated H - for tying down luggage).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Must be 997.2 specific. Try this link: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...placement.html

That is the exact part! Thanks so much for the link - it's reassuring to know that others have had this problem, too! It must take a LOT of effort to move to the right though to remove it because it is NOT budging! Guess I need to find a superhero with finesse.
BTW, although I've read and learned from all the posters for the past year and a half since joining, this is my first post. Thank you for being kind to a newbie.
