I'm struggling with the top cat fastener as well. Sneered odd the bottom two on each side (even after using penetrating oil), but can't get enough leverage with the wrench I have to break the top one off.

How hard is the bumper removal? The other aspect working against me is it's now in the 40s here for temp so everything wants to move that much less, and cutting up the hands happens that much faster.

Just checked mine prior to the install. They are all rusted nubs of nuts. I'll order the ARP hardware before I get my fabspeed x pipe installed. Just ordered the ARP bolts and nuts from Jegs.

Is that 4 digit code under the Sharkwerks name the product code? I just received mine and the 4 digit code is different: 0893. My first clue I had a problem are the instructions title "Shark Werks 991 GT3 /RS track exhaust system installation "

I have a 997.2 C4S. Did I get the wrong one?

I know this is thread revival, but have to ask the OP as to why the 2 different bolt head types with your install?

TIA

^^^ 6 for the cat flange (3x each side), 4 for the muffler pipe sleeve clamps (2x each side), 2 for the engine carrier support straps (1x each side).

I get where they go, I wanted to know why one type of bolts has a normal bolt head and the other is a 12 pointed head. Is there a technical reason for it?

No reason. You can use either one, six or 12 point bolt . But you need a few to be longer as they have to go through a bracket too.

Couldn't source ARP bolts in the UK without getting the "sandpaper, No lube" treatment on pricing. I've sourced normal 6 point stainless fittings to do the job.

I get the desire to use quality parts.... but really...... the cruddy bolts that Porsche use are fine.... why do we need to jump to some bolt material that will live longer than a cockroach after the apocalypse?

I used stainless from H-Depot or Lowes... can't remember which... some said they are crap.... well after many years and miles, my car has not deposited its exhaust on I80 yet.

Peace

Having gone down the vanilla stainless steel bolt path rather than the ARP stuff, they were cheaper than the Porsche bolts so it was a no brainer at a local hardware store.
